FRA FOTOGRAFEN: I have been dreaming of creating a Christmas styled shoot since I started my photography business. I have been envisioning this for a long time, both in my head and on my Pinterest Board. With the help of my gorgeous model, Olivia, hair stylist and makeup artist, Leigha, and florist, Christine, my visions finally came to life on a farm in the heart of Minnesota on a snowy, winter day. It couldn't have been more perfect. Most of the props I used were from my mother's house and have been used during Christmas for years, and instead of cake I used cinnamon rolls (from Cinnabon) - a morning treat for many on Christmas morning. I wanted to create a simple, wholesome, rustic, winter Christmas shoot. Olivia couldn't have looked more perfect for the part and having the shoot take place on the hairstylist's grandpa's farm (where her parents were married) was absolutely perfect.
